Before we went in we wanted to make a couple of calls, unfortunately there is no signal and no public phone, so we had to walk all the way to the top of the hill to get one bar of signal

For years the dale folks heard the stories, of how they hunted down their quarries
Till one autumn day's hunting spree, in sixteen hundred and ninety three.
The day was frosty dark and menacing, the Armstrong would not get his venison
The dear did clear the yawning gape, But ground around being soft and slape
Een mighty Hercules fearsome stride, Could not achieve the other side
and the fearless pair took a mighty ------, and a fatal plunge into the ghyll
John loved hercules like a brother, so they're buried as they lived ~
One upon the other.
